Fiber-Based Sandwich Packaging

The modified atmosphere sandwich pack (MAP) has been announced by ProAmpac as a new packaging created with the sandwich brand Sammi that prioritizes a more sustainable profile. The sandwich packaging is characterized by its fiber-based profile that's specially designed with sandwiches and wraps in mind, and boasts a carton board framework alongside a thin transparent film liner for enhancing product preservation and visibility. The packaging is thus rated to provide an impressive shelf life and reduce the expenses associated with food spoilage.
