Ocean Education Events

The Prada x UNESCO partnership continues its mission to educate and inspire future generations through ocean conservation, bringing the 'Sea Beyond' project to Paris for a two-day event at the Paris Oceanographic Institute. Blending education, science, and art, the initiative showcased Prada’s commitment to ocean literacy through a film screening, expert panel discussions, and a hands-on workshop for international delegates.

A highlight of the event was the screening of 'Kindergarten of the Lagoon,' a Prada-supported documentary that captures young students in Venice learning about marine ecosystems. With 35,000 children already engaged in the program, the film underscores the importance of early exposure to environmental stewardship.

Prada also unveiled its Sea Beyond calendar for the year, including the launch of an Ocean Literacy Center in Venice, participation in the U.N. Ocean Conference in Nice, and a Shanghai activation this fall. The brand is turning sustainability into action with 1% of proceeds from Prada’s Re-Nylon collection funding ocean education.
