PRADA's Re-Nylon Collection Welcomes Renowned Actors

The 2024 campaign film for PRADA's Re-Nylon collection features renowned actors and activists Emma Watson and Benedict Cumberbatch. The marketing initiative aims to highlight the luxury brand's ongoing collaboration with UNESCO for ocean preservation.
The Re-Nylon collection represents a shift towards sustainability, utilizing ECONYL—a regenerated nylon yarn made from recycled ocean plastic, fishing nets, landfill waste, and textile fiber scraps. Through a circular approach of recycling and purification, Prada produces high-quality Re-Nylon yarn. In 2023, the brand began donating 1% of proceeds from the Re-Nylon Collection to support SEA BEYOND, an educational program launched by Prada Group and UNESCO's Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission (IOC).
The campaign showcases timeless pieces worn by Watson and Cumberbatch. While the actors will certainly drive hype around the event, their presence also emphasizes their connection to the environment they aim to protect.
