Biodegradable Bubblegum Packages

Milliways, the plastic-free, plant-based chewing gum brand, has unveiled a new packaging design and an updated recipe. The pocket-friendly design draws inspiration from a similar pack developed for Pret A Manger, which boasts a convenient pop-to-open feature and efficient re-sealability. Despite the compact size, the ergonomic boxes remain fully recyclable and biodegradable. The new packaging features a clear and distinctive branding alongside product labeling, with each pack designed to accommodate the addition of different flavors. “The gum category has been starved of innovation and sustainable practices for decades, and this comes at the expense of consumers who want something new and exciting – better ingredients, unique flavours, sustainable materials," said Tom Raviv, Milliways’ founder and chief executive.
