Eco-Friendly Vegan Chocolate Packaging

Consumer demand for eco-friendly packaging is continuing to increase, so brands are responding with new initiatives as seen with the recent collaboration between Conscious Chocolate and packaging manufacturer Qualvis.

The vegan chocolate brand will make use the packaging designs from Qualvis that are completely recyclable, compostable and made from plant-based materials. This includes exterior paper packaging as well as films that can be tossed into the compost instead of simply thrown away after consumption.

Founder and Director of Conscious Chocolate Emma Jackson spoke on the new packaging designs from Qualvis saying, "Qualvis made our dreams a reality. We developed a very close working relationship with them, which gave us confidence and trust in what they were able to achieve. It took over a year to make this all happen, from designing the packs, through to choosing the material and finish. It is no easy feat to produce fully compostable and recyclable packaging, which still looks great and holds its integrity. The team went that extra mile to fulfil the brief. We were hugely impressed with their professionalism and dedication."
