The University of Guelph Announced a New Masters

Offered by the Ontario Agricultural College (OAC), this interdisciplinary program focuses on sustainable plant or livestock agriculture, environmental sciences, and agricultural economics. The curriculum includes hands-on field courses, internships, and professional development opportunities, allowing students to customize their studies to match their career goals. The program aims to address the skills gap in the agricultural sector by providing comprehensive training in data analysis, agri-tech innovations, and sustainability leadership.
The MSAg program is structured to provide a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical experience. Students begin their studies at the Ridgetown Campus, where they engage in field courses and visit agricultural operations. After the initial semester, students transition to the Guelph campus to complete their coursework. The program emphasizes experiential learning and partnerships with agricultural organizations, offering students real-world, career-focused experiences.
