The Mack Truck LR Collection Truck Reduces Fuel Needs and Maintenance

City infrastructure is becoming increasingly focused on in a bid to make it more sustainable and eco-friendly, so the Mack Truck LR collection truck is intended to help reduce emissions and maintenance needs.

Featuring a Wrightspeed Route 1000 turbine and electric powertrain, the truck is capable of being run on diesel, biodiesel, compressed or liquid natural gas, landfill gases, propae, kerosene, heating oil and more. This enables the Mack Truck LR to be a much more efficient approach to essential vehicles for cities in order to maintain and uphold a commitment to reducing emissions.

The Mack Truck LR vehicle was showcased at WasteExpo2016, which took place in Las Vegas earlier this week. The truck design could help to reduce operating costs drastically for metropolitan areas.
