Macao Energy Consortium (CEPM) and Bavaro Adventure Park have launched a new 208 kWp photovoltaic system that will help encourage sustainable operations across its Punta Cana park. Bávaro Adventure Park already addresses aspects of operation like waste reduction, biodegradable materials, and biodiversity preservation. The company hopes that through this solar power project, it will be able to decarbonize the tourism sector and adapt more sustainable operational practices. By prioritizing eco-friendly practices, the park supports broader efforts to protect the environment while offering visitors a responsible and immersive experience in nature.

This initiative is part of CEPM’s CEPM Zero project, which aims to achieve carbon neutrality in the eastern Dominican Republic. Currently, the company operates 37 solar parks.
