Fresh Del Monte Produce Inc. has embarked on an innovative partnership with Arena Packaging that promises to revolutionize the fresh produce industry, particularly for bananas. This groundbreaking collaboration not only enhances fruit quality but also significantly reduces food waste, carbon emissions, and operational costs.

Introducing Reusable Plastic Containers (RPCs) for banana shipments offers improved airflow and extends the shelf life of the fruit. Moreover, RPCs are also trackable, boasting an impressive lifecycle of up to 15 years. Each container can be reused approximately five times annually, further contributing to sustainability efforts.

In the event of any damage, individual components can be easily collected, replaced, and repurposed, reducing waste and promoting a more environmentally responsible approach to fresh produce packaging.
