Far-Reaching Reforestation Initiatives

Fayafi Investment Holding is launching 'EcoRegen,' a large-scale initiative to plant 500 million trees over five years. This effort aims to combat climate change and enhance carbon capture while also supporting local communities. Headquartered in the Dubai International Financial Centre, the company is taking a significant step toward a more sustainable future.

To achieve these goals, Fayafi will "invest USD 100 million in tree planting while also generating carbon credits." Furthermore, the program will provide training and jobs for "50,000 farmers, each earning USD 2,000 to plant 10,000 trees." As a result, the initiative will not only restore ecosystems but also boost local economies. Over time, EcoRegen is expected to start producing carbon credits in its fifth year, with full carbon absorption projected in 20 to 30 years, ultimately removing 500 million tons of CO₂ annually.
