Heirloom Secures Investments for its 'Series B Funding'

Heirloom, a U.S.-based company specializing in Direct Air Capture (DAC) technology, has raised $150 million in 'Series B funding.' This investment round was co-led by Future Positive and Lowercarbon Capital, both of which had previously invested in Heirloom’s 'Series A funding.'
Among the investors in this round are "Japan Airlines Co., Ltd., Mitsubishi Corporation (Americas), Mitsui & Co., Ltd., and Siemens Financial Services." These companies represent industries such as aviation, shipping, automotive, and advanced manufacturing, all of which are actively working to reduce carbon emissions.
With this funding, Heirloom will "be able to lower the cost of its DAC technology, support the development of new projects, and build the infrastructure needed for future growth." Ultimately, this investment reflects growing confidence in Heirloom’s potential to play a significant role in helping industries achieve their net-zero emissions goals.
