Ambitious Tree-Planting Campaigns

Los Angeles-based Greenbar Distillery, in partnership with Sustainable Harvest International, has announced an ambitious goal to plant two million trees in Central American rainforests. In the past, the distillery has planted over one million trees, committing to plant a tree for every bottle of spirits sold, as well as for other products, but now the business is amping up the stakes.

This initiative reflects Greenbar Distillery's dedication to sustainability. Beyond the tree-planting initiative, the business also utilizes organic ingredients, energy-efficient production, and recyclable packaging. Every 1.5 oz of Greenbar spirits helps remove 46.6 kgs of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, contributing to a carbon-negative impact.

Co-founder Melkon Khosrovian emphasizes the transformative impact of their sustainability efforts, noting "Our motto, 'Radically Carbon Negative, Radically Revolutionary,' is most evident in our tree-planting partnership with Sustainable Harvest International. What started as a small gesture to give back has, over the years, completely transformed how we perceive our responsibility to the planet."
