Carbon-Reduced Release Liners

Elkem ASA’s Silicones division launched two new products within its Silcolease portfolio, specifically designed for high-performance release liners. The latest additions—Silcolease RE POLY 11362 and Silcolease RE POLY 368—are now available for pre-commercial sales and represent a breakthrough in environmentally responsible formulation.

Crafted entirely from 100% recycled silicone and formulated without solvents, these next-generation products deliver the same technical performance and reliability as their conventional counterparts, while significantly reducing their carbon footprint.

"They represent the future of release liner technology, delivering the same trusted, non-stick properties and easy release of self-adhesive materials our customers expect from us,’ said Agnès Jolly, head of research and technology for silicone fluids at Elkem. ‘Extensive tests and trials have been conducted to make sure users experience a seamless integration into existing processes."
