Apparel Manufacturing Adhesives

CreateMe Technologies has introduced a new thermoreversible adhesive following three years of research and development. Supported by "19 patents, this innovation is designed to enhance textile recycling within the $1.7 trillion fashion industry." Integrated into CreateMe’s robotic systems, the adhesive helps to reduce manufacturing costs while simultaneously decreasing environmental impact.

By embedding circularity directly into the manufacturing process, this technology facilitates the "reuse, recycling, and recovery of materials, effectively minimizing waste and emissions." Furthermore, CreateMe’s vision is to establish a closed-loop system where, once a product reaches the end of its life, it can be easily disassembled for recycling, with the materials being reintegrated into the supply chain. As a result, CreateMe’s innovation represents a crucial step towards improving sustainability in the fashion industry, fostering a more circular economy while addressing waste and emissions challenges.
