Sustainable Protein Ice Creams

Japan-based Ajinomoto has announced these new Atlr.72 ice creams as a series of frozen treats that are crafted with Solar Foods' Solein protein to give them a sustainable, nutrition-minded edge. The products come in three flavors including Vanilla with Mochi, Chocolate with Lemon Peel and Salty Caramel with Nuts, which are each infused with Solein to give them a boost of protein. The ice creams will make their debut in Singapore at the Atlr.72 food truck, which will touring various locations to spread the word.

Chief Commercial Officer of Solar Foods Juan Manuel Benítez-García spoke on the new Atlr.72 ice creams saying, "We are proud to support the Ajinomoto Group on promoting a new food lifestyle including healthier and more environmentally friendly snacking and food consumption occasions. Solein as an ingredient is a great fit for these kinds of products: it brings superior nutritional values, taste and functionality, with minimal environmental impact."
