Sustainable Kentucky Bourbons

World Whiskey Society has launched the GREEN CODE Straight Bourbon Whiskey, named for its eco-friendly packaging. It boasts a fully recyclable bottle with 84% less carbon impact than traditional glass and is five times lighter. This 96-proof Kentucky straight bourbon offers a rich aroma of butterscotch, toasted oak, honey, and cereal grains. The complex palate features a blend of honey, butterscotch, oak, molasses, candied apples, and dark fruit, while the finish delivers a lingering mix of molasses, dried fruit, and toasted oak.

“We’re constantly seeking new ways to experiment, from our liquid to our bottles, and we are excited to introduce one-of-a-kind packaging that will have a positive impact on the whiskey community and beyond,” Alex Kogan, CEO of World Whiskey Society, said in a press release.
