Monkey 47 Sloe Gin is showcasing a more sustainable ethos thanks to new packaging that will see the brand shifting towards a more eco-friendly option. The liqueur is now packaged in a bottle made with 95% recycled glass, while the label is made with 15% citrus fruit leftovers and 40% recycled fibers. The cork used in the topper is made with naturally harvested materials, while the shrink wrap used to keep it in place ismade with the PLA plastic substitute made out of fermented plant starch.

General Manager of Black Forest Distillers Gregory Chevillat commented on the Monkey 47 Sloe Gin packaging saying, "Sustainability is a given at Monkey 47.
