Many brands are adopting sustainable production models to give consumers peace of mind. Even one of the most well-known fast fashion purveyors is switching to a more planet-friendly mode by pledging that it will strive to offer collections made with fully organic or recycled fabrics by 2025. This extends to materials like cotton, linen, and polyester. Viscose is planned to be ethically sourced by 2023.

This sustainable production model is a huge step for the fashion company as it recognizes consumption and its impact on the environment. The materials that are to be switched to the more eco-conscious option "make up 90 percent of all raw materials purchased by the brand." Moreover, Zara is also cooking up plans to make its brick-and-mortar locations eco-efficient, as well as make clothing recycling available at all stores.
