The conceptual 'Sustainable Family Farm' is a multipurpose solution for the modern home that will provide users with a way to grow their own produce from the comfort of their living space and more. The unit features a table-like design that features space for several plants to be positioned and boasts an access hatch on the opposite side that can be used for placing food waste. This enables the system to break down the food scraps and utilize them for fertilizer to keep the plants growing well throughout the year.

The conceptual 'Sustainable Family Farm' us the design work of Chaozhi Lin, Junjie Zhou, Yong Liu, Can Wang and Jiashun Lin, and could help to make use of the large amounts of food waste created by the average home every year.
