Japanese furniture imprint Okamura designs the new Sphere office chair. It has a sleek design language and is defined by its sustainable efforts as the silhouette is made from recycled fishing nets that have been salvaged from the ocean.

The chair first made its public appearance in Chicago during the NeoCon design fair this year. It has a “3D physical fit shell” complete with a kinematic shape to effortlessly adapt to anyone that sits in the seat and contours to their body. Due to this, it is comfortable to sit over long periods of time without feeling any fatigue. The upholstery of the chair is made from the brand's Re:net material, which is made from fishing nets.
