ECONYL is a progressive design studio that is doing great work towards a greener future and now it highlights collaborative efforts by noho, a sustainable furniture imprint based in New Zealand, and Aquafil Group, which is the company that fuels ECONYL. noho started off by searching for a raw material that was eco-friendly to create a new chair design.
ECONYL was the perfect option and together, the two created the noho move chair. Guilio Bonazzi, the president and CEO of Aquafil Group notes “We love seeing ECONYL® nylon being used in innovative ways, especially now being sourced by an inventive company like noho, the first furniture brand in the world to see waste plastic as a long-term furniture solution."
