RE:JERSEY is an innovative production process from PUMA that puts existing football jerseys to good use by upcycling them into entirely new ones. This waste-reducing initiative supports a more sustainable future and a production model that leverages materials that are already in circulation.

Old garments with logos, embroidered elements and club badges have been difficult to recycle properly in the past but RE:JERSEY makes it possible for these pieces of apparel to be given new life. As part of the process, the garments are chemically broken down and then put back toether to create a yarn that boasts the same high-performance characteristics as virgin polyester. RE:JERSEY kits are made with 75% repurposed football jerseys and 25% SEAQUAL MARINE PLASTIC, a sustainable and fully traceable raw material made from marine litter such as fishing nets.
