Recyclable Unisex Tracksuits

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle AND REMOVE

adidas’ and Stella McCartney recently teamed up to create a one-of-a-kind tracksuit for addidas' 'Made to Be Remade' collection.

Created in partnership with New Cotton Project, which is an EU organization dedicated to reducing textile waste, addidas' new tracksuit shows the potential for repurposing and reusing our clothes. The new unisex tracksuit is made from a blend of 60% viscose and 40% organic cotton, and boasts an oversized silhouette. But what makes this tracksuit so unique is that consumers can return the tracksuit after wearing it down, and it will be remade into a new garment. To have the tracksuit remade, all consumers have to do is scan the garment’s QR code on the adidas app and then send it to Infinited Fiber Company’s recycling stream to be broken down and remade.
