Conservation Promoting Initiatives

Ramnagar Forest Division Introduced an Eco Tourism Circuit

The Ramnagar Forest Division in India is set to introduce the 'Corbett Heritage Tourism Circuit' on November 15. This eco-tourism initiative is designed to deepen visitor engagement while supporting conservation efforts within the Kaladhungi Range and Pawalgarh Conservation Reserve. Inspired by "the sites referenced in the works of legendary conservationist Jim Corbett, this circuit adds a unique historical and literary dimension to the visitor experience."

A key attraction along the circuit is the Kaladhungi Range, known for its exceptional biodiversity. Visitors will encounter habitats that "sustain Bengal tigers, Asiatic elephants, and over 350 bird species, including the elusive Great Slaty Woodpecker." By exploring these vibrant ecosystems firsthand, guests can gain insight into the importance of protecting these landscapes and aligning tourism with conservation goals in India.
