Pascale Mussard, a sixth-generation member of the Hermès family, launched a new Petit h pop-up dedicated to upcycling luxury materials left over from the brand’s primary lines, such as Kelly bags, silk scarves, and porcelain tableware. The brand operates under the idea that “[n]othing is lost, everything is transformed, and an object is created.”

Situated in the Paris suburb of Pantin, Petit h operates as a creative laboratory under the direction of Godefroy de Virieu, who leads a team of fifty designers and artists, alongside ten skilled artisans, to craft functional yet whimsical new items from these materials.

The Petit h line is selectively available in Hermès boutiques and online, but it also travels globally in curated exhibitions. Following a recent display in Hong Kong, the collection will be featured in New York City from October 11–26 at Hermès’ Maison Madison.
