The OXMAN O° (pronounced "O-Zero") collection is a first-of-its-kind footwear innovation featuring shoe designs constructed entirely of polyhydroxyalkanoates, or PHAs, a class of organic material known for its versatility and biodegradability.

These 100% biodegradable shoe designs made with organic material and without petrochemicals or glues produce no microplastics, and come together with one material, under one rood, with minimal human intervention. The low-waste process makes the most of a compact robotic system that 3D prints custom PHA blends onto a textile that's 3D knitted on an industrial flatbed machine. Combined, the knitting and printing technology create shape and movement, and eliminate the need for conventional parts of shoe assembly, such as cut-and-sew and adhesion processes.

OXMAN is in talks with potential partners, investors, and brand collaborators to bring the production of O° shoes and textiles to scale, and to market.
