Tranter has created an energy-efficient, extreme temperature-resistant heat exchanger titled the NovusBloc. The NovusBloc is an invaluable asset to refineries. Currently only available in North America, the NovusBloc is available in four sizes which can be selected based on the specific needs of the refinery.

The unique structural build of the NovusBloc makes it longer-lasting and more efficient than competitors. The welded plate design boasts minimal loss of pressure and maximum resistance to the heat exchanging process. This decreased loss of pressure and increased efficiency results in the NovusBloc reducing CO2 emissions in refineries by nearly 3 million tons per year.

The welded plates are durable to the point that they allow for easy handling of high-temperature and flammable liquids. Additionally, the NovusBloc is designed to distribute the stress applied from operating pressure evenly, so no area will break down quickly. On top of this, the NovusBloc is easy to clean and inspect, so operators can ensure that the device is fully functional as often as required.
