Woodlands Housing Development Plans

Loreburn Housing Association has completed its Woodlands development in Lochmaben, providing six new sustainable homes for local families. The project, developed by RD Nairn Construction, emphasizes energy efficiency and affordability, aligning with Loreburn's commitment to environmental sustainability. Each home is equipped with air-source heat pumps, Mechanical Ventilation Heat Recovery systems, and photovoltaic panels to harness renewable energy. Additional features include triple-glazed windows and airtightness membranes, which enhance energy performance and reduce carbon emissions. These measures not only support environmental goals but also help tenants lower their energy costs.
