Upcycled Rubber Material Partnerships

Hero Flooring continues to push forth its sustainable ethos by becoming an official partner with Nike Grind. The two have been working together since 2020 when they came up with five products and have a sixth currently in development. The capsule is made using the iconic Nike Grind material, which is made from a blend of recycled rubber that is collected from athletic shoes.

This functions as the base foundation that is available in roll, tile, and interlocking tile patterns which resemble a vibrant terrazzo. Currently, the products include the Original Razzo, the 3Force, Sole Cycle, and the Dunk shoes. All of these are ergonomic in design, acoustic, and easy to care for. Founder of Hero Flooring, Reade Palmer explains, “I reached out to Nike in the earliest part of 2020 and borderline begged for a chance to share my vision of what we could do as an official Nike Grind Partner. My vision was that we would create a true product portfolio of Hero Rubber + Nike Grind – not a single SKU or a quick one-off product – but a true program that delivered a true market differentiator.”
