East-West Seed (EWS) has unveiled an innovative seed coating technology named Nutrishield+ that is designed to enhance crop production for Filipino farmers. Nutrishield+ acts as a protective Seed Armor, offering nourishment and protection throughout the seed's life cycle. By enhancing seed performance, Nutrishield+ helps farmers achieve higher yields and promotes sustainable farming practices.

"Faster emergence, bigger seedlings, and more uniformity — this technology not only helps farmers thrive but also consumers live healthier lives with more nutritious vegetables," said Jay Lopez, East-West Seed Philippines general manager.

Nutrishield+ is packed with active ingredients such as micronutrients, fungicides, insecticides, and biofertilizers to ensure optimal plant growth. The new product was unveiled on May 10 at Hacienda Angelita in San Rafael, Bulacan.
