Sustainable Airport Energy Sources

Dallas Love Field has tapped JetWind Power Corporation to procure energy-capturing pods that turn aircraft wind into sustainable energy. Following multiple trials conducted from 2021 to 2024, the new product is set to be used in various airport areas. Notably, this partnership will also bring six JetWind charging stations to the airport to ensure optimal power.

"We couldn't be prouder to host JetWind during their prototype phase and help certify the benefits of this technology," said Patrick Carreno, Director of Aviation. "It's even more exciting to be their first customer after being a guinea pig!"

Currently, two stations have been installed in the Dallas Love Field airport. The brand also has plans to install these units across other heliport and train systems.
