Drop-Off Garment Recycling Systems

CheckSammy, a sustainability and junk removal company, has launched a new program called CheckSammy Drop, which aims to make textile recycling easy and accessible for retailers, manufacturers, and consumers. The program is designed to be easy and applicable for businesses, private individuals, governments, and more, as any are welcome to participate.

Drop is a simple and convenient solution that allows users to deploy drop bags or bins at their locations and schedule one-time or recurring pick-ups by CheckSammy. The company then collects, sorts, debrands, and redirects the textile materials to local charities, thrift stores, and recycling centers, diverting them from the landfill. Users can also access detailed reports and analytics on their textile diversion, which can help them with their sustainability goals and tax credits. Drop is currently available in over 100 cities across the US and Canada, and CheckSammy plans to expand it to more markets in the future.
