Levi's Will Buy Back Your Secondhand Denim

Levi's is launching a sustainable denim line and alongside it comes an ambitious buy-back program. In an effort to get consumers to think about their shopping habits, Levi's program will encourage individuals to sell their secondhand denim back to the label in exchange for a gift card. These gift cards can be put toward a purchase at the store at a later date.
The buy-back program will be giving shoppers between $15 to $25 for jeans that can be resold, and $30 to $35 for anyone holding Levi's vintage denim. According to Chief Marketing Officer Jennifer Say, “Buying a used pair of Levi’s through SecondHand saves approximately 80 percent of the CO2 emissions and 700 grams of waste compared to buying a new pair of Levi’s”.
