BlackBook Presents Partners with UNESCO for Mother Nature in the Bardo

BlackBook Presents, in partnership with UNESCO, will unveil 'Mother Nature in the Bardo,' a thought-provoking exhibition examining "the evolving relationship between art, culture, nature, and spirituality over two centuries: This free public exhibition will run from March 13 to April 20, 2025, at Chelsea’s High Line Nine Gallery." Complementing the showcase, BlackBook will also release an art book of the same title, featuring insights from renowned art figures Klaus Biesenbach and Hans Ulrich Obrist.

Bringing together over 100 works, the exhibition highlights a diverse roster of artists, including "Doug Aitken, Alexander Calder, Serge Attukwei Clottey, Petra Cortright, Lucian Freud, Allison Janae Hamilton, Anselm Kiefer, Yayoi Kusama, Claude Monet, Wangechi Mutu, Georgia O’Keeffe, Tomás Saraceno, and Ai Weiwei." Moreover, Mother Nature in the Bardo invites audiences to reflect on environmental influences in artistic expression. A panel discussion later in April will further expand on these themes, fostering meaningful dialogue.
