Nexus W2V has commenced construction on the Kingsbury Bioenergy Complex, a state-of-the-art facility in Northwest Indiana designed to revolutionize organic waste management and renewable energy production. The $140 million dollar project is expected to process 200 tons of organic waste daily, including food scraps and processing by-products. It will work to convert these materials into renewable natural gas.

The Kingsbury Bioenergy Complex will work to address the significant issue of food waste in the U.S., where over 40% of food is discarded. This costs Americans an average of $1,500 per person annually in landfill expenses.

By diverting waste from landfills, the facility aims to reduce inefficiencies, lower environmental impact, and produce sustainable energy. Additionally, the complex will create 50-60 jobs during construction and dozens of long-term positions once operational. Over its lifetime, the facility is expected to process two million tons of organic waste, avoid four million tons of carbon emissions, and produce enough natural gas to power 45,700 homes annually.
