Upcycled Algae Makeup

The Unseen Beauty's Absorption Collection Uses Living Ink's Algae Black

Most black pigments used in beauty products are made from toxic crude oil, coal or non-renewable resources and The Unseen Beauty is changing this as the first company to launch a cosmetics product made from Living Ink’s Algae Black innovation. Algae Black makes the most of upcycled algae biomass and it's a high-performance pigment that's healthier for people and the planet.

"Not all our products transform in color," says The Unseen Beauty, "Some we invent to disrupt the beauty industry and provide better alternatives to what already exists. We’re inventors, and where we see a gap, we close it."

The Absorption Collection by The Unseen Beauty spotlights the world’s first non-toxic, sustainable black pigment in beauty with a lengthening mascara and a long-wearing pencil liner packaged in a cellulose barrel made using carbon-negative upcycled pigments derived from Algae organisms.
