Low-Impact Beauty Packaging

Albéa's low-impact beauty packaging solutions for makeup and skincare take on the challenge of reducing the strain put on the environment. These low-impact solutions include components for mascaras, face sticks, lipsticks and round compacts that can be used for both face and eye makeup products.

Components for all sorts of beauty products are notoriously difficult to recycle thanks to their many unique components and these low-impact solutions integrate anywhere from 30% to 100% of post-consumer recycled plastics. Aude Charbonneaux, CSR Manager at Albéa, says, “Our first priority is to reconsider the type of plastic resins used in the packaging, moving from non-recyclable resins to recyclable resins such as PET & PP, available also as post-consumer recycled resins (PCR).”
