Sustainable Living Rewards Programs

Uzbekistan has launched 'One Million Green Families,' a nationwide initiative to promote sustainable living as part of its Year of Environmental Protection and Green Economy and the broader Uzbekistan 2030 strategy. Backed by a presidential decree, the movement encourages households to adopt eco-friendly habits through advocacy and incentives.

The program focuses on key sustainability principles, including promoting active lifestyles, encouraging green transportation like bicycles, reducing plastic and food waste, conserving water, gas, and electricity, and implementing waste sorting for recycling.

By integrating these practices into daily life, Uzbekistan aims to foster a culture of environmental responsibility and long-term ecological resilience. Citizens who display exemplary behavior will become an 'Eco-Active Citizen,' earning a 10% discount on public services and lower interest rates.
