Hilton has announced the continuation of its Green Ramadan initiative across six of its hotels in Türkiye, a forward-thinking program designed to reduce food waste during the holy month substantially. This initiative is part of Hilton’s collaboration with Winnow and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) under the UNEP West Asia Office’s Recipe of Change Sustainable Ramadan campaign.

One notable contributor to this initiative is the Hilton Istanbul Bosphorus, which has introduced a 'Zero Waste Kitchen' concept. Here, fruit and vegetable scraps are repurposed into creative appetizers, showcasing an innovative approach to waste reduction and sustainable dining.

Additionally, group Iftar dinners for parties of 10 or more adhere to Green Ramadan Standards, featuring specially curated zero-waste menus. This approach not only minimizes waste but also aligns with Ramadan's values, allowing guests to celebrate in an eco-conscious manner.
