Employee Travel Incentives

Sprinklr Encourages Its Employees to Take Ground Transportation

The online plant shop Sprinklr is giving its employees an interesting travel incentive to encourage sustainable behavior. If workers are taking vacation and are not flying by plane to reach their destination, they will receive two extra days of leave — or "Linde days" as the company calls them — added to their annual vacation allotment. This approach presents an interesting and effective way to discourage individuals from using airlines as the mode of transportation significantly contributes to the levels of carbon emissions.

Sprinklr recently estimated the result of its sustainability-focused employee travel incentive. About 11 out of the company's 14 workers did not fly at all in 2024 and, therefore, received two extra days of leave in January 2025.
