Coca-cola and Bill Nye encourage plastic recycling through a new stop-motion recycling campaign. The short animated film is designed to demystify and promote plastic bottle recycling. It stars Bill Nye rendered into a cartoon as he explains the process of recycling.

The stop-motion film distills the complicated logistics of plastic recycling into a straightforward process, explaining the recycling cycle from the moment the plastic bottle is dropped into a recycling bin to its rebirth as another product. According to Christien Yeager, director of sustainability at Coca-Cola, "the thought is to take something about recycling – which can be complicated and boring – and make it approachable and inspiring, and make someone want to get out of their chair and recycle their plastic bottle."
