Czech Sustainable Innovation Funds

Soulmates Ventures, a Czech accelerator and venture capital firm, has announced the launch of a €50 million sustainability innovation fund. This initiative aims to support startups that focus on environmental and social impact, aligning with Article 9 of the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR). The fund will provide initial investments of up to €3 million per startup, with follow-on funding of up to €5 million to ensure long-term support. Soulmates Ventures has built a strong portfolio of 17 startups across eight key sectors, including energy, mobility, circular economy, and healthcare. The firm’s approach combines financial investment with strategic guidance, helping startups scale effectively and expand into new markets.

The €50 million fund reflects Soulmates Ventures' commitment to fostering sustainable innovation and addressing critical environmental challenges. By offering both funding and hands-on acceleration programs, the firm aims to bridge the gap between innovative solutions and their large-scale implementation. This approach includes connecting founders with industry experts and providing detailed ESG performance insights to align with high sustainability standards. With this fund, Soulmates Ventures seeks to drive transformative change, contributing to a more sustainable and resilient future.
