Residents can deposit plastic bottles with barcodes into the machine at the Municipal Hall, earning rewards for every 12 bottles collected. This gamified approach fosters consistent recycling habits while promoting environmental awareness.

TMI's commitment to sustainability extends beyond this initiative. The company has actively engaged in coastal cleanups, tree-planting drives, and solid waste management campaigns within Nasipit and neighboring communities. The reverse vending machine aligns with AboitizPower’s environmental goals, reinforcing its dedication to sustainable practices in areas where its operations are based.
