The 'Lylo' Portable Washing Machine Concept Reuses Wastewater

Water shortages are expected to start becoming a reality in the UK in a few short decades, which is seeing products like the 'Lylo' portable washing machine concept designed to help offer insights into how we can practice conservation now.
Designed by Joanna Power and Paramveer, the washing machine is targeted towards students at present and works by placing the water tank in the base of a shower before bathing. The tank will capture gray water, which will then be filtered upon being attached onto the main washing machine unit. The recycled water is then used to wash clothes in 15-minute cycles.
The 'Lylo' portable washing machine concept is presently in the development stage with a production plan set to start in 2023.
