Dissolving Algae-Made Food Packaging

The 'NakedPack' food wrap has been created by Naama Nicotra as an eco-friendly take on plastic packaging to help reduce the amount of waste created on a daily basis. The packaging is made with algae and only needs to be rinsed before being cooked to reveal the food within. This eliminates the need for disposable packaging and vastly reduce the amount of plastic that the average person will need to purchase.

The 'NakedPack' food wrap is designed on the basis of everything being self-contained inside the packaging to offer a single serving of food for a person. The packs are designed with such popular dishes as spaghetti with sauce, a curry dish, soup, vegan cheese and more. The packaging identifies how plastic waste can be proactively reduced in an upstream manner.
