Labelless Water Bottles

Montbest Unveils Labelless Water Bottles for South Korean Consumers

While South Korea continues to lead the world in terms of ecologically friendly packaging and recycling rates, Montbest is introducing a "no-label" beverage package in cooperation with Gentlebrand. South Korea recently announced plans to cut plastic packaging use by 60% before 2030 in order to become a plastic-free society by 2050. The bottle's labelless construction complies with the country's expanding plastics rules, furthering its efforts towards sustainable packaging. By choosing to go labelless, the company will reduce its plastic waste and usher in "a new product identity."

“South Korea and Japan are very concerned with [environmental] sustainability, especially energy transition and resource scarcity. It is the philosophy in these countries [driving advanced recycling],” Susan Hansen, global strategist for food packaging and logistics at Rabobank, was quoted in a statement.
