Oceanic Conservation Chardonnays

The Kooliburra Hidden Sea Chardonnay is a new private label wine created by ALDI in the UK in partnership with The Hidden Sea for consumers to choose that supports oceanic conservation. The wine itself is reported to be a crisp, refreshing expression that's perfect for everyday enjoyment and will work well with a variety of fare. The wine will also contribute towards ocean plastic cleanup with the equivalent of 10 plastic bottles worth of ocean plastic removed from the sea thanks to a partnership with the ReSea Project.

National Sustainability Director at ALDI UK Liz Fox spoke on the Kooliburra Hidden Sea Chardonnay saying, "We know our customers want to shop more sustainably, which is why we’re pleased to be launching this unique wine that will support ongoing industry action to reduce ocean plastic. Our Buying Teams are always looking for ways to offer more sustainable options and we’re proud to be the first supermarket working with The Hidden Sea on our very own label Chardonnay.”
