Cartoon-Inspired Green Sneakers

Adidas is releasing a new pair of Stan Smith shoes inspired by the iconic Kermit the Frog cartoon character. Arriving as a part of the Originals x Disney collection, the sneakers feature splashes of green to represent the famous frog, and also boast a Kermit graphic on the side and his name on the heel. Adding to the design is the phrase 'It's Not Easy Being Green' on the heel tabs, another aspect that playfully references the character.

Notably, the Stan Smith 'Kermit the Frog' sneakers feature a Primegreen construction. Primegreen is a durable, plastic-free fabric derived from partially recycled materials. This is a part of the brand's dedication to responsible, eco-friendly production.

“The next step in our journey to help End Plastic Waste begins with reimagining the iconic white court sneaker, the Stan Smith,” the company explained in a statement.
