MUJI Unveils its New Collection Made from Kapok Materials
Amy Duong — February 14, 2024MUJI introduces its latest collection of apparel that is designed with a lightweight and eco-friendly fiber known as kapok. This is designed for the Spring season approaching just around the corner. Kapok is a sustainable material that is made with little fertilizer and water without the use of pesticides. As a whole, it is known to be the lightest natural fiber with only one-eighth of the weight of cotton.
This contributes to MUJI's long-standing goals of finding the right materials to create its products from, building towards a greener future with every step. The material was first used last year and now, the brand turns its attention back to kapok by developing a new collection of core products that are functional, stylish, and sustainable.
