Biomaterial Hoodie Designs

The PANGAIA biofabricated hoodie is a limited-edition garment created in partnership with Spiber Inc. to provide consumers with an eco-friendly take on the classic fashion staple.

The hoodie is achieved using Spiber's Brewed Protein fibers and organic cotton, which gives it a distinctly sustainable edge. The Brewed Protein fibers are reported to require less land and water use for growth, and have undergone a unique fermentation process. The garment comes as the first of a multi-year partnership between the two brands.
